The Silver City Farmers' Market (SCFM) provides a place where Grant, Catron, Luna, and Hidalgo County producers of fresh produce, meat, livestock, and homemade goods can sell directly to consumers.
What We Do
The Silver City Farmers' Market advises local consumers of the availability of locally produced, high quality, fresh produce, meats, livestock, and other farm products. Encourages greater participation in the direct marketing of agricultural products and increased production of quality products for local consumption. The SCFM endeavors to educate growers and consumers through written information and workshops on area growing conditions, water usage techniques, and the importance of local agriculture in our region.
The Silver City Farmers' Market participates in and actively supports New Mexico Grown initiatives, and facilitates the use of SNAP EBT/Double up Food Bucks, Senior WIC, and Fresh RX initiatives.
