July 4th 2026 is the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Please come and be a part of the Silver City Museum's Ice Cream Social. The Ice Cream Social started in 1977 and initially happened every other year. Since the humble beginnings of the Silver City Museum, to today, the ICS is an integral part of Silver City's Independence Day and we celebrate our 42nd this year!
We need a large variety of volunteers inside and outside of the museum; Kids activities, face painters, store cashiers, store watchers, greeter desk, set up and break down, grill masters, ice cream scooper, ticket takers and ticket sales, and decorating.
